Worthy Brothers and Ladies All,

As was discussed at Sunday’s meeting, we have deadlines approaching by year end that we need to meet in order for the 2020 Convention to be a success! Please see the email and the attachments that Kathleen McLoughlin (Texas State Council) has graciously put together for us.

Debbie, Ed, Reed and Doyle: Please review the flyers from 2017. Please edit, change or add any pertinent information you feel will enhance your particular event!

Jorge, please continue to work on the 2020 Convention Logo so that we can finalize and receive approvals that will allow us to use on appropriate information pieces sent to the potential attendees!

Once all information is gathered, Reed and I will edit the Welcome  and send to the team for approval prior to distribution. Please send any and all renditions to Reed and I before the November 16 meeting for review. Hopefully we can finalize at our meeting.

All, we have a lot of work to do and deadlines to meet. Let’s stay ahead of these dates and give Kathleen the present she is asking for and deserves!!

Thank you all for everything you have done and will do to make this convention a success!!

SK Mike Courtney
2020 TX State Convention Co-Chair

Some of the team members remained at Council 5052 afterwards to lend moral support to their other team, the Dallas Cowboys as they faced the NY Giants in their season opener. Council 5052 put out a nice spread of hot snacks, actually it was quite a meal, and the sports-bar setting/atmosphere lent itself well to promoting good cheer and good karma as the Cowboys defeated the Giants in their first game of the season!
