SUMMARY:Diocesan Organizational Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Diocesan Organizational Meeting\nThe Diocese of Dallas will have our Diocesan Org. Meeting on Saturday July 20\, 2024. The meeting will be held once again at St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church\, 950 Trails Parkway in Garland beginning promptly at 8:30 am. Set up and registration will begin at 7:15 am. It is our plan to be done by 12:30 pm with lunch to be provided at the conclusion of the meeting. \nThis is an opportunity for the State to present their plans for all councils and the Dallas Diocesan team to also present the programs critical to our success in the upcoming year. Please advise and strongly encourage all Council GK’s\, FS’s\, DGK’s as well as any member of the councils in good standing to attend. This will be the membership’s opportunity to hear firsthand what is going to take place over the course of the year! \nWith less than a month to go in this Fraternal year\, the Diocese of Dallas has had tremendous success thanks to the hard and smart work by everyone on this email. That said\, none of our success could be accomplished without the great work and efforts of the Councils! They make it happen day in and day out! Because of their efforts\, we exceeded our goals in both Membership and Charity. We have several Star Districts which mean there are quite a few Star Councils. We have a New Council in the Diocese that will hit the Century Mark in Membership by the end of June! We continue to lead the Order in The American Wheelchair Mission. As the saying goes\, “Where there is a need\, there is a Knight” and the members in the Diocese of Dallas exemplify this all the time! This organizational Meeting will also be our time to say THANK YOU!!!!!!! \nThere is still some work to do to close the year out.
