SUMMARY:DDC Meeting
DESCRIPTION:DDC Meeting\nThe next meeting of the Dallas Diocese Chapter will take place at Council 799 on Thursday March 31st. Please join us for a light dinner at 6:30 and the meeting will begin promptly at 7:00 PM. Unless I hear otherwise from you\, I will hold a spot for you on the agenda as usual. Please keep your presentations to about 5 to 10 minutes and if you have powerpoint please get it to Jorge Ruiz prior to the meeting.\nThis meeting will be important for the Diocese in many ways:\n\nIt is on the eve of the start of our Fraternal 4th Quarter – a good time to celebrate our success and evaluate where we may be falling short as a Council\, District and Diocese. We will have 90 days at that point to either ” make or break” on some important initiatives like Membership\, Star Council\, etc.\nIt looks like we will have as many as 4 candidates who will be running for various State Officer positions at the Corpus Christi Convention visiting this DDC meeting. This will be a great opportunity to hear their views and ask some questions about their vision for our order.\nIt will be a good opportunity to plant seeds for initiatives you are leading in the balance of calendar 2022. The next meeting of the Diocesan organization will not take place until July of ’22!\n\nAs you visit with your own and other Councils throughout the Diocese\, please encourage them to send a representative to the meeting on the 31st\, particularly GK’s or Deputy GK’s or those who will be Convention Delegates in April. However the meeting is certainly open to all Knights of the Dallas Diocese.\nPlease let me know if you have any questions or requests and I hope to see you on the 31st!
