DESCRIPTION:Diocese of Dallas – Spanish Initiative Meeting\nBrother Knights All\, \nAt the Diocesan Organizational Meeting\, DD Nick Flores gave us a great presentation and update on the Spanish Initiative here in the Diocese of Dallas. With the assistance of Asst. Diocesan Deputy Ed Diaz\, Former DD Alberto Castro and DD Eddie Castillo\, the team is working to reintroduce all that the Knights of Columbus has to offer our Members\, our parishioners and all our Christians brothers and families where Spanish is their preferred language. We had several meetings and attendance and participation continues to grow. \nOn Saturday August 21\, we will hold another meeting and we encourage ALL brother Knights where Spanish is the preferred language to attend. Our session will be held at Our Lady of San Juan de los Lagos – Santa Teresita 2601 Singleton Blvd\, Dallas\, TX 75212. We will be in the Center Building located directly behind the Church. Registration for the meeting will begin at 8:00 and we will provide coffee\, juice and breakfast tacos. The meeting will start at 08:30. We will be done by noon. Much of the information shared at the Diocesan Meeting will be presented at this meeting only in Spanish. \nI am asking that all Grand Knights and DD’s spread the word to your membership and invite any Spanish speaking member or any member that is interested in hearing what our initiative is all about to attend this session. \nWe are off to a strong start in this new fraternal year. Con la ayuda de Asst. El diputado diocesano Ed Díaz\, el ex DD Alberto Castro y el DD Eddie Castillo\, el equipo está trabajando para reintroducir todo lo que Caballeros de Colón tiene para ofrecer a nuestros miembros\, nuestros feligreses y todos nuestros hermanos y familias cristianos donde el español es su idioma preferido. Tuvimos varias reuniones y la asistencia y la participación sigue creciendo. \nEl sábado 21 de agosto\, tendremos otra reunión y alentamos a TODOS los hermanos Caballeros donde el español es el idioma preferido para asistir.
