DESCRIPTION:Independence Day\n250 Years ago\, our nation declared its Independence.\nIN CONGRESS\, July 4\, 1776.\nThe unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America. \nWhen in the Course of human events\, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another\, and to assume among the powers of the earth\, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them\, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. \nWe hold these truths to be self-evident\, that all men are created equal\, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights\, that among these are Life\, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights\, Governments are instituted among Men\, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed\, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends\, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it\, and to institute new Government\, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form\, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Formal invitation will follow. \nWe would like all our District Deputies\, Grand Knights and Financial Secretaries to attend and this is open to all Knights in Dallas. \nAll the Dallas Directors and committeemen will have tables in the back and sides to answer questions about their particular areas of responsibility after the conference concludes.

DESCRIPTION:CUF Exemplification at St. Anthony in Wylie by Fr. Loyd Morris Council 12300\nThe Knights of Columbus welcomes new members into the order ceremonially with an “Exemplification of Charity\, Unity\, and Fraternity.”  \nFr. Loyd Morris Council 12300 will hold a CUF Exemplification at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Wylie.  The ceremony will begin after the 5PM Saturday Vigil Mass in the White Church\, which faces Ballard Ave.\, in front of the main building. \nParking access at St. Anthony is currently only available from the Brown Street side — please turn onto Brown Street to access and enter the parking lot.  \nCandidates will be contacted by our Membership Director\, Aaron Monroe\, PGK\, and Grand Knight Robert Finley. \nCandidates are invited to arrive for Corporate communion during 5pm Mass\, and join immediately after Mass for the ceremony which will start at approximately 6:30 PM. \nSuggested dress code:\nButton down shirt with collar and slacks; tie and sports coat are optional.
