Fraternal Benefit Seminars
Our agents offer exclusive events/seminars (online or in-person) designed to help members become more aware of the financial benefits offered by the Knights of Columbus. Schedule a Fraternal Benefit Seminar with your field agent, then afterwards fill out the Council Report (at right) and your council will get credit towards the FOUNDERS AWARD. This is one of the requirements for the STAR COUNCIL Award.

The Founders’ Award recognizes excellence in the promotion of our insurance and fraternal benefits. All councils must host / promote at least two Fraternal Benefit Events during the fraternal year. The required sum total attendance of members, or member eligible men, at these events must equal or exceed:
- 10 for councils with 99 or fewer members
- 14 for councils with 100 or more members
These events are coordinated in conjunction with your local field agent. In order for the council to receive credit, the Grand Knight must submit the new online form #11077 within seven days of the seminar.
Today, the Order’s mission to provide security for all members and their families still endures in a new economy as it did with Fr. McGivney’s vision in 1882, only with additional products and services. Consider your opportunity as a member to participate in a planning review to assure your family’s security.
Our goal for member participation is to motivate members to a heightened awareness by educating members about the importance of professional planning for all income levels in order to provide financial security for their family and business.
