Fraternal Benefit Seminars
Our agents offer exclusive events/seminars (online or in-person) designed to help members become more aware of the financial benefits offered by the Knights of Columbus. Schedule a Fraternal Benefit Seminar with your field agent, then afterwards fill out the Council Report (at right) and your council will get credit towards the FOUNDERS AWARD. This is one of the requirements for the STAR COUNCIL Award.

The Founders’ Award recognizes excellence in the promotion of our insurance and fraternal benefits. All councils must host / promote at least two Fraternal Benefit Events during the fraternal year. The required sum total attendance of members, or member eligible men, at these events must equal or exceed:
- 10 for councils with 99 or fewer members
- 14 for councils with 100 or more members
These events are coordinated in conjunction with your local field agent. In order for the council to receive credit, the Grand Knight must submit the new online form #11077 within seven days of the seminar.
About The Regan Agency
John Regan graduated Jesuit College Preparatory, Dallas, Texas 82’ and Spring Hill College, Mobile, Al 86’. He received a bachelors of science in political science with a minor in economics. John and his wife Colleen have five children, Ryan, Carolyn, Kelsey, Jack and Erin. They are parishioners and school parents of St Elizabeth Anne Seton Catholic Community, Plano, TX. John is a Certified Financial Planner for the Knights of Columbus, a non-profit member benefit organization providing products and professional advice for Catholic families and businesses.
The Regan Agency team consists of 24 professional field agents serving the Diocese’s of Ft Worth, Dallas and Tyler. John’s agency focus is professional planning services for all members in order to achieve, maintain and preserve a members’ family and business goals. He has been recognized numerous times as a Supreme Knight’s Club member, Million Dollar Round Table member and Kinane Award member.
He has attained the financial planning industry’s highest planning certifications CFP, CLU & ChFC to provide professional services for his membership. John began his association with the Knights of Columbus in 1986 and has represented the Order since 1986 and now as a General Agent represents North & West Dallas, Plano, Frisco, Coppell, Lewisville & Fort Worth.
Today, the Order’s mission to provide security for all members and their families still endures in a new economy as it did with Fr.
