A Higher Purpose
Share the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe and promote respect for life by participating in this meaningful pilgrimage. The Silver Rose program demonstrates the unity between Knights of Columbus in Canada, the United States and Mexico, through a series of prayer services promoting the dignity of all human life and honoring Our Lady.
What is the Silver Rose Program?
The Silver Rose Faith In Action program demonstrates the unity between Knights of Columbus in Canada, the United States and Mexico, through a series of prayer services promoting the dignity of all human life, and honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe.
- Every stop the Silver Rose makes throughout the pilgrimage is a rosary-centered occasion to pray for respect for life.
- The Silver Rose is Processed into the church or gathering space, and a rosary prayer service is held with the gathered community of Knights, Parishioners, and Community Members.
- The Silver Rose Rosary Prayer Service consists of four parts:

- Rosary for the Intention of Protection of the Sanctity of Life
- Liturgy of the Word (Reading, Psalm, Gospel)
- Act of Consecration and Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary
- Final Blessing
- Hosting a Silver Rose Ceremony fulfills a Pro Life Requirement in the Faith In Action Programs for the Star Council Award
- Prayer books in either English or Spanish Language are provided.
