The Bob Stras Memorial Basketball Tournament

Tip off for the 63rd Annual Bob Stras Memorial Basketball Tournament is set for Thursday afternoon, December 3rd. As usual, 8 girls’ teams will play concurrently at Bishop Lynch High School along with 8 boys’ teams at Jesuit Dallas. Games will continue Friday and Saturday with the Championship game in each bracket taking place early Saturday afternoon December 5th.The Knights of Columbus of the Dallas Diocese are proud to present this 63rd Annual edition of the tournament. Through the generosity of our Councils, Assemblies, Individual Knights, and Affiliated Organizations and outside sponsors we are able to provide the following items to enhance the tournament experience for participants:

• A 50-page high gloss printed program with all rosters and brackets
• Commemorative tee shirts for all players, managers and trainers
• Funds for the host schools to cover referee and other operating costs
• All trophies and awards
• Commemorative gift for all head coaches
• Personalized “bag tags” for all players and coaches
• Post-game food for players and coaches
• Color Corps to present the colors before both championship games
• Knights of Columbus volunteers

We do this every year to support two of our largest Catholic high schools, to spread the mission and purpose of the Knights of Columbus, particularly to youth and to honor the Legacy of our Brother, SK Bob Stras.
