2024 Diocese of Dallas KofC Free-throw Competition Winners

On behalf of all the members of the Knights of Columbus in the Diocese of Dallas, I wish to thank you for your participation in the recent Annual Free-throw Competition held at Bishop Dunn HS. It was a pleasure to meet so many of you and such a joy to watch all of you cheer on your child as well as the other players. I would also like to congratulate each of the following children for participating and winning the competition for their age group!

As I stated on Sunday, all winners are invited and encouraged to compete at the State Level Competition against same age children from around the state of Texas! This year’s event will be held on Saturday March 2, 2024. Listed below are the details of the event:

• Location – ED WHITE MIDDLE SCHOOL
  • 7800 Mid Crown
  • San Antonio, TX
• Gym Opens – 7:00 AM
• Registration – 7:30 – 9:30
• Practice – 7:30 – 9:00
• Presentation of Colors – 9:00
• Competition to commence immediately following the Opening Prayer and presentation of Colors

I ask that you let me know no later than Friday February 23 if you plan to attend the event. If you are unable to attend, I will then reach out to the 2nd place winner of the respective age group and invite him/her to participate. For those traveling in before the event, below are a few hotels close to the venue. Please be aware that the Knights of Columbus have made no agreements or blocked any rooms. All expenses for travel are the responsibility of the participants with no reimbursement from the Knights of Columbus.
