Mary Immaculate Wheelchair Sunday, Roy Rabenaldt and Ricardo Guzman-Hefferan
Fr. Alfonse and Brother Knights,

Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Council 5052, in Farmers Branch and the Dallas Diocese, held a very successful 8th Annual Wheelchair Sunday over the past weekend. They collected $42,113 at the Masses, and $5,150 was received online, for a total of $47,263 for 315 wheelchairs

Since it is estimated that each wheelchair delivered changes and improves an average of 10 lives, they will impact the lives of 3,150 people.

Their funds will provide a large container containing 280 wheelchairs for the Acapulco CRIT Center in the state of Guerrero, Mexico.

Twelve Our Lady of Guadalupe lithographs were given to donors who contributed $500 or more.

Thank you so much to Fr. Alfonse for his outstanding support and to Roy Rabenaldt for coordinating the event for seven years and assisting at all the masses. Thanks also to all Brother Knights who did an incredible job of preparing with the rest of Council 5052. Many thanks to the parishioners of Mary Immaculate for their generosity in providing these life-changing gifts of mobility.

God bless all of you.

Sincerely,

Ricardo Guzman

Dear Fr. Alfonse and Brother Knights,

Thank you again for your incredible support of our life-changing mission over the past eight years.

We are so blessed to have you working with us hand in hand to answer the prayers of entire families with the gift of mobility.

The great success of our mission is because of dedicated Knights like Roy and thousands of generous parishioners who allow us to be tools in God’s hands doing His work on earth.

Your efforts on our behalf are most sincerely appreciated and received as a blessing by those we serve.
