The Bob Stras Memorial High School Basketball Tournament

December 5^th, 6^th and 7^th  2024

The Knights of Columbus of the Dallas Diocese are once again proud to present The Bob Stras Memorial High School Basketball Tournament over the three-day weekend of December 5^th, 6^th and 7^th  2024. As usual, 8 boys teams will compete at Jesuit Dallas College Prep and 8 girls’ teams will play concurrently at Bishop Lynch High School. Our 61^st edition should be equally exciting and packed with great competition for the 16 teams involved!

Our Dallas Knights provide all of the trophies and awards, a 48 page color program with full rosters, tee shirts for all participants, food for all teams after every game, commemorative personalized bag tags for all players and coaches, commemorative coaches gifts and more. The 4^th Degree Color Corp is present at both Championship games to add to the significance of the event. In addition to all of that, the tournament provides each host school a stipend to cover the considerable cost of referees, security and other operating expenses. We are able to do all of this due to the generosity of our Councils, Assemblies and other sponsors as well as individual Brother Knights who graciously support the tournament year after year through advertising in the Tournament program. The Knights of the Dallas Diocese have done this for 61 years for 2 reasons – to support our local Catholic High Schools who host the Tournament and to expose the Knights of Columbus and all we stand for to the community, our metroplex and state youth.
