Please read all the way to the bottom of this note – I have a special announcement at the end and I need everyone’s eyes on it. This will be reviewed at the convention during the Saturday breakout session and again during the Organizational Meeting.

Blessings always,

Special Announcement

Brothers – With the great possibility of Roe vs Wade falling from the laws of the land and back to the States we are in a position where in a few short months Texas will no longer have abortions within our borders!!

With this great news comes the possibility that we will have a much larger need for help from those women that find themselves with an unplanned pregnancy. This could tax our Pro-Life infrastructure beyond any limit previously imagined.

To help battle this I am asking KofC Councils to work with their Parishes to look into opening up Life Resource Centers (LRC). These LRC’s are not for pregnancy tests and sonograms, but rather a place where a mom in need can go to get diapers, maternity clothes, clothes for baby and basic supplies. The enclosed document outlines an LRC and hopefully you will find it useful.

To invite a mom in need to visit our parishes for assistance could lead to her visiting the parish for even more – such as spiritual needs that we all have. The more we invite people to “come and see” the more of a chance they will encounter Christ Himself through us.

Please read at least a couple of pages and let me know what you think. Then send it off to your Councils where I hope someone will see it and take action…

All you have to do is forward this note.

Thank you all so much and may God bless you each day – for Life!
