St. Ann Wheelchair Sunday
Father Henry and Brother Knights,
Father W P Pechal Council #11721 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Kaufman, and the Dallas Diocese, held their 5th Wheelchair Sunday over the weekend. They collected $3,329, plus received $275 before the weekend, for a total raised of $3,604 for 24 wheelchairs.
Since it is estimated that each wheelchair delivered changes and improves an average of 10 lives, 240 lives will be impacted! Their funds will go towards providing a large container of 280 wheelchairs for the Hidalgo CRIT Center in Mexico.
There were 2 Our Lady of Guadalupe lithographs given out to donors of $500 or more.
Thank you so much to Fr. Henry Erazo for his wonderful support of this mission again this year. Thanks also to Grand Knight Mario Chavez for coordinating the event and to the Brother Knights that helped. And many thanks to the St. Ann parishioners for their kindness and generosity in providing all these life changing gifts of mobility. God bless all of you.
Blessings,
Brother Bill Weber
Texas Wheelchair Chairman
