Father Tony and Brother Knights,
St. Anthony Council #12300 in Wylie, and the Dallas Diocese, again held a Wheelchair Sunday over the weekend. They collected $5,511, plus received $4,475 before the weekend, for a total of $9,986 for 66 wheelchairs. Since it is estimated that each wheelchair delivered changes and improves an average of 10 lives, they will impact the lives of 660 people.
Their funds will go towards providing wheelchairs for the Sonora CRIT Center in Hermosillo, Mexico.
There were 2 Our Lady of Guadalupe lithographs given out to donors of $500 or more and many donation envelopes were handed out.
Thank you so much to Father Tony Densmore for his wonderful support of this mission. Thanks also to Grand Knight Bob Fries for again coordinating the event and to the Brother Knights that helped at the Masses. And thank you to the parishioners at St. Anthony for their kindness and generosity in providing these wheelchairs.
God bless all of you.
Blessings,
Brother Bill Weber
