St. John Nepomucene Wheelchair Sunday

Father John and Brother Knights,

Ennis Council #1353 at St.John Nepomucene in Ennis, and the Dallas Diocese, held a successful first ever Wheelchair Sunday over the weekend raising $5,243 for 35 wheelchairs without pulpit talks.

Since it is estimated that each wheelchair delivered changes and improves an average of 10 lives, 350 lives will be impacted. Their funds will go towards providing a large container of 280 wheelchairs for the Veracruz CRIT Center in Mexico.

There were 2 Our Lady of Guadalupe lithographs given out to donors of $500 or more.

Thank you so much to Fr. John Dick for his support of this mission and to Grand Knight Michael Kudrna for coordinating the event and helping at all 5 Masses. Thanks also to the other Brother Knights that helped and to the St. John Nepomucene parishioners for their kindness and generosity in providing these wheelchairs for children in need.

God bless all of you.

Blessings,

Brother Bill Weber
