St. Jude Wheelchair Sunday June 2025
Father Andrew and Brother Knights,
St. Jude Council #11293 in Allen, and the Dallas Diocese, held a very successful 3rd Annual Wheelchair Sunday over the weekend. They collected $25,444, plus received $825 before the weekend, for a total raised of $26,269 for 175 wheelchairs.
Since it is estimated that each wheelchair delivered changes and improves an average of 10 lives, they will impact 1,750 lives! Their funds will go towards providing a large container of 280 wheelchairs for the Chihuahua CRIT Center in Mexico.
There were 13 donors that received an Our Lady of Guadalupe lithograph for their $500 or more donation and many donation envelopes were handed out.
Thank you so much to Fr. Andrew Semler for his awesome support again this year and to Brother Ronnie Cechan for again coordinating the event, helping at all 6 Masses and reading all 5 English pulpit talks. Thanks also to the many other Brother Knights that helped and to the St. Jude parishioners for their kindness and generosity in providing all these life changing gifts of mobility for children in need. God bless all of you.
Blessings,
Bill Weber
Texas Wheelchair Chairman

Dear Fr. Andrew and Brother Knights,
Thank you for your continuing support of our life-changing mission.
We are so grateful for the ability to answer the prayers of entire families with the gift of a wheelchair. The children who can now go to school and become a part of family life and society are excited for their future.
Your generous and compassionate parishioners allow us to all live the Gospel and touch people’s lives in an immediate, tangible, and dramatic way.
May God bless you all.
Sincerely,
Chris
