Father Jose and Brother Knights,

Holy Family of Nazareth Council #5243 at St. Luke Catholic Church in Irving, and the Dallas Diocese, held a successful 3rd Annual Wheelchair Sunday over the weekend. Including the $675 collected before the weekend, they raised $12,545 for 83 wheelchairs. This is already the most funds they have ever raised.
Their funds will help provide a large container of 280 wheelchairs for the Colima, Mexico CRIT Center.

Since it is estimated that each wheelchair delivered changes and improves an average of 10 lives, they will make an immediate impact in the lives of 830 people.

There were 9 Our Lady of Guadalupe lithographs given out to donors of $500 or more.

Thank you so much to Fr. Jose Carmen Hernandez for his wonderful support again this year. Thanks also to Brother Loren Hedrick for again coordinating the event, helping at all 9 Masses and reading the pulpit talk at the 3 English Masses and the one Portuguese Mass. Grateful to the other Brother Knights that helped, especially Brother Ricardo Guzman-Hefferan who read the pulpit talk at all 5 Spanish Masses and helped at all the Masses. And many thanks to the parishioners of St. Luke Catholic Church for their generosity in providing all these life changing gifts of mobility.

God bless all of you.

Sincerely,
Bill Weber
Texas Wheelchair Chairman

Dear Fr. Jose and Brother Knights,

Thank you so much for your continued support of our life-changing mission.

Every wheelchair we are able to deliver answers the prayers of entire families. Children can dream of a better life because of their newfound mobility, and attend school with their families and friends.

Thank you for being the answer to our prayers and allowing us to do God’s work on earth.

You are most sincerely appreciated, and the answer to our prayers.

    May God bless you all,

    Chris
