St. Thomas Aquinas Wheelchair Sunday

Father Arthur and Brother Knights,

St. Thomas Aquinas Council #11937 in Dallas held a successful 2nd Annual Wheelchair Sunday over the weekend. They collected $4,725, plus received $1,450 in online donations, for a total raised of $6,175 for 41 wheelchairs. Additional funds were received from the second collection at the Masses and will be counted later.

Since it is estimated that each wheelchair delivered changes and improves an average of 10 lives, they will impact the lives of 410 people.

Their funds will go towards providing a large container of 280 wheelchairs for the Los Cabos, Mexico CRIT Center.

There were 2 Our Lady of Guadalupe lithographs given out  to donors of $500 or more.

Thank you so much to Father Arthur Unachukwu for his support of this mission. Thanks also to Brother Jonathan Stanley for coordinating the event and helping and to the other Brother Knights that helped. And many thanks to the St. Thomas Aquinas parishioners for their kindness and generosity in providing all these life changing gifts of mobility.

God bless all of you.

Blessings,
Bill Weber
Texas Wheelchair Chairman

Dear Fr. Arthur and Brother Knights,

Thank you so much for your continued support of our life-changing mission.

The generosity and compassion in the hearts of your parishioners allow us to do God’s work on earth and answer the prayers of entire families.

When a child receives a wheelchair and can start school for the first time, it is a transformation into society and a new way to dream about the future ahead.

Your efforts are most sincerely appreciated on behalf of all the people we serve.

    May God bless you always,

    Chris

Way to go guys! That is fantastic news. Thank you again both Brother Bill and Ricardo for your assistance with this wonderful mission. Thank you Father Arthur for your support and Worthy GK Jon for your council’s involvement with the drive. I can’t wait to hear where STA ranks when it comes to other Parishes in the Dioceses.
