UPDATE* 2018 Dallas Regional Free Throw Contest Results
March 4 Update:
Congratulations goes out to our Dallas kids who placed in the State Free Throw Contest in San Antonio on Saturday, March 4, 2018:
- First place – 10yr old boys, Hogan Civello from council 11169 St. Rita’s
- Second place – 11yr old boys, Sloan Nelson from council 13520 All Saints
- Second place – 9yr old girls, Jaclyn Silva from council 5052
Dallas had 40 boys and 37 girls between the ages of 9yrs and 14yrs compete in the Dallas Regional ‘Free Throw Contest’ held today at Bishop Dunne High School. The first place winners will go on to represent Dallas in the state free throw contest in San Antonio on Saturday, March 3rd.
Thanks to all councils and districts for sponsoring this event at the parish level, and sending their champions to the regional. Thanks also goes out to DD Andy Goza for emceeing todays event; and also to his councils in the Duncanville area for providing judges and scorers.
Special thanks to brother knight Steve Guererro, asst principle and athletic director at Bishop Dunne High School for once again providing a wonderful venue.
