Volunteer Opportunity: Help unload wheelchair container in Allen

Dear Brother Knights,

Our Chapter in the Diocese of Dallas is receiving a shipment of 280 wheelchairs to help those in need locally, and we need your help to welcome them. We are looking for volunteers to help unload the shipping container and move the wheelchairs into four storage units located in Allen.

Here are the details:

Location: 3 Prestige Cir, Allen, TX 75002 (click for map)
Estimated Date: LAST WEEK OF AUGUST OR FIRST WEEK OF SEPTEMBER, 2026
Time: To be determined

Please note that the arrival date and time may fluctuate based on shipping logistics. I will send out a follow-up email with the confirmed date and exact time as soon as the transportation company provides the final schedule.

If you are available to lift, move, or support this effort in any way, add it to your calendar. I have created a REGISTRATION FORM for those interested in helping, so I can send updates and the new date and time (once confirmed) to all those registered.

Nuestro Capítulo en la Diócesis de Dallas recibirá un envío de 280 sillas de ruedas para ayudar a personas necesitadas de la localidad, y necesitamos su ayuda para recibirlas. Buscamos voluntarios que ayuden a descargar el contenedor y a trasladar las sillas de ruedas a cuatro unidades de almacenamiento ubicadas en Allen.
