Knights of Columbus Dallas Diocese Chapter Names Father Rudy Garcia Chaplain of the Year

At their Annual Organizational Meeting on Saturday, July 22nd 2023, The Knights of Columbus of the Dallas Diocese honored Father Rudy Garcia, Pastor of St. Francis of Assisi in Frisco, as Knights of Columbus Dallas Chapter “Chaplain of the Year” for the 2022/23 fraternal year. The Knights of Columbus has 59 active councils in the Dallas Diocese with over 11,000 members who are devoted to the principles off Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. Deputy Grand Knight Tom May who submitted the nomination of Father Rudy said “ His profound spiritual guidance, exceptional leadership skills and genuine care for others have had a great impact on countless Brother Knights. The Knights of Columbus Council at St. Francis of Assisi consists of over 400 Brother Knights who work tirelessly to support the parish, the community and their pastor – Father Rudy.”

At the same meeting, Council 11293 at St. Jude Parish in Allen was named “Council of the Year” and Sir Knight Dan Stoffel from Prince of Peace Parish in Plano was named “Knight of the Year” for the Dallas Diocese.

Council 11293 at St. Jude Parish in Allen, Texas was named the Dallas Diocese Chapter “Council of the Year” for the 2022/23 fraternal year.

Sir Knight Dan Stoffel from Prince of Peace Parish in Plano was named the Dallas Diocese Chapter “Knight of the Year” for the 2022/23 fraternal year.
