KofC – Silver Rose at St Joseph – 2023
Brothers,
A few pics from St Joseph as we hosted the Silver Rose on 06/24 & 06/25.
This was our regular Rosary Program weekend, so Adrian incorporated a Pro-Life Rosary with an intro that provided parishioners with the meaning of the Silver Rose.
Great job by our Life and Faith Program Directors.
Isaac was also on our minds.
Vivat Jesus!

Hello my name is David Gutierrez.
My Son (Isaiah) and I attend St. Joseph Catholic Church in Richardson, Texas.
We really enjoyed the Silver Rose that the Knights Of Columbus had for viewing after the 5:30pm Mass.
After Mass my son and I went over to view the Silver Rose and get a bit more information about the Silver Rose and found out that:
The Knights Of Columbus Silver Rose program is a cherished annual tradition that honors Our Lady of Guadalupe and promotes the sanctity of human life. This program, initiated in 1960, involves the symbolic journey of Silver Roses across North America, uniting communities in prayer and reverence.
I took some pictures but this one really caught my eye.
The Halo was so bright that you couldn’t asked for the right moment.
Mamá Mary:
“Listen, put it into your heart, my dearest one, that the thing that disturbs you, the thing that afflicts you, is nothing. Do not let your countenance, your heart be disturbed. Do not fear any sickness, nor anything that is sharp or hurtful. Am I not here, I, who am your Mother? Are you not under my shadow and protection? Am I not the source of your joy? Are you not in the hallow of my mantle, in the crossing of my arms? Do you need anything more?”
Thank you
David Gutierrez
