Mary Immaculate Wheelchair Sunday
Fr. Alfonse and Brother Knights,
Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Council 5052, in Farmers Branch and the Dallas Diocese, held a very successful 7th Annual Wheelchair Sunday over the past weekend. They collected $42,817.75 at the Masses, and $2,250 was received online, for a total of $45,067.75 for 300 wheelchairs
Since it is estimated that each wheelchair delivered changes and improves an average of 10 lives, they will impact the lives of 3,000 people.
Their funds will provide a large container containing 280 wheelchairs for the Mexico City CRIT Center in Mexico City.
There were 10 Our Lady of Guadalupe lithographs given to donors of $500 or more.
Thank you so much to Fr. Alfonse for his awesome support and to Brothers Roy Rabenaldt for coordinating the event for seven years and helping at all the masses. Thanks also to Omar Mediano, who did an incredible preparation with the rest of Council 5052. Many thanks to the Mary Immaculate parishioners for their generosity in providing all these life-changing gifts of mobility.
God bless all of you.
Sincerely,
Executive Director

Thank you Ricardo for the update. What a wonderful weekend having our Knights of 5052 and community come together and making this wheelchair drive so successful. Thank you Roy and Ricardo for all the hard work and leading the charge over the weekend.

Dear Fr. Alfonse and Brother Knights,
Thank you so much for your incredible continuing support of our mission.
You have allowed us to answer so many prayers over the years, and once again, we will change many lives because of the compassion and generosity of your parishioners.
A child who can now attend school because of their wheelchair has a new life and dreams of the future.
God bless you for all of the good you are allowing us to do in His name.
Most sincerely,
Chris
