Pro Life News July 2020

My Brother Knights,

A new fraternal year is almost here – Please take a moment to thank those Officers and Directors that served your Council and Diocese so well during the 2019-2020 fraternal year.

A special thanks to Roy Rabenaldt who served us so well as the Dallas Diocesan Deputy these past several years… You did a great job Brother Roy and I cannot thank you enough.

Many of you know that I am hosting a video event this coming Tuesday June 30th – I truly hope you can attend – it has been in the works for some time now and it is proving to be most timely. State Deputy Elect Alfredo Vela will be speaking as well at Michael O’Neill – He has a show on EWTN and will be speaking about the founder of the Knights of Columbus, Fr. Michael J McGivney, that evening… Michael O’Neill is a very interesting person and I know you will be entertained by his insight into the canonization of our Founder.

Our State Deputy Elect, Alfredo Vela, will be speaking the day before he takes over the reins of the State Council – Please inform your Council and everyone you know to tune in.

I will give a short State of Texas Pro Life account and I have a wonderful fundraiser to tell you about that you can use for your local Pro Life ministry or even your Parish if they have been hit hard by the closing of our churches due to CV-19.

Michael O’Neill, aka the “Miracle Hunter”, will be our keynote – We lost our opportunity to hear great speakers at the convention – I hope this will make up for that… Michael is host of the EWTN docuseries They Might Be Saints – showing now. He is also an accomplished author, Relevant Radio host and an incredible man – you will not want to miss hearing what he has to say about the sainthood status update and newly announced Vatican-approved miracle of our Fr. Michael McGivney!!

So please do plan on attending and please send this note out to everyone you know so that they can attend as well.

Here is the link we will use on June 30th – save it to your calendar so you can tune in via your computer, iPad, or phone:
