St. Joseph Wheelchair Sunday
Father Stephen and Brother Knights,
St. Joseph Council #8954 in Richardson, and the Dallas Diocese, held a successful 3rd Wheelchair Sunday over the weekend. Including the $1,570 received before the weekend, they raised $24,593 for 164 wheelchairs.
Since it is estimated that each wheelchair delivered changes and improves an average of 10 lives, 1,640 lives will be impacted! Their funds will go towards providing a large container of 280 wheelchairs for the Guerrero Mountain CRIT Center in Mexico.
There were 4 Our Lady of Guadalupe lithographs given out to donors of $500 or more and lots of donation envelopes handed out.
Thank you so much to Fr. Stephen Ingram for his awesome support of this mission and to Brother Rob Mauga for his great job coordinating the event, helping at all 7 Masses and buying me lunch. Thanks also to the many Brother Knights that helped and to the St. Joseph parishioners for their kindness and generosity in providing all these wheelchairs for children in need. God bless all of you.
Sincerely,
Bill Weber
Texas Wheelchair Chairman

Thank you so much for your always wonderful support of our mission.
We are incredibly grateful for the efforts that translate directly into prayers answered for families in need of mobility.
The compassion and generosity in the hearts of your parishioners allow us to be tools in God’s hands, doing His work on earth.
