The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe Wheelchair Sunday

Father Jesus Belmontes and Brother Knights,

The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe Council #5538 in Dallas and the Dallas Diocese held their third Wheelchair Sunday.

They collected $2,537 for 16 wheelchairs. Since it is estimated that each wheelchair delivered changes and improves an average of 10 lives, they will impact 160 lives. Their funds will help complete one container of 280 wheelchairs for the Sonora CRIT Center in Hermosillo City, Mexico.

Thank you so much to Fr. Jesus Belmontes for your tremendous support of this mission and to our Brothers Dan Michel and Joe Gonzalez from Council #5538 for coordinating this event. Thanks also to the Brother Knights who helped at all Masses.

Thanks to The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe parishioners for their kindness and generosity in providing these wheelchairs for children in need. God bless all of you.

Sincerely,

Ricardo Guzman-Hefferan
