Hike for Life – Save the Dates

Flyers attached (English and Spanish) as well as the last email blast to the Hikers (Links are provided below to register or Sponsor a Priest)

We have 3 Hikes this year in Dallas supporting 9 different ministries – please distribute these dates to your Council and Parishes

Everyone needs to support the Hike for Life – when you do – you “Help Moms and Save Babies”!!!

Karen Garnett – Former Executive Director of the Catholic Pro-Life Community will be speaking at the McKinney Hike on October 5th and Carol Everett, former owner of 5 abortion clinics will be speaking at the Bachman Lake Hike on October 12th and the Richardson/Garland Hike on October 19th.

Many of you know Karen and her incredible means of delivering a beautiful Pro-Life message at every event she is part of, but most of you probably do not know Carol.

Huge Pro-Life Mass – The Annual Respect Life Mass – Bishop Burns – Celebrant and Bishop Kelly – Concelebrant

Saturday October 12th – St Ann’s – 180 Samuel Blvd, Coppell, TX 75019 – 5:00 PM (fulfills your Sunday obligation)

Please attend the Annual Respect Life Mass with Bishop Burns and Bishop Kelly at St. Ann’s. We want to overfill this church and celebrate Life doing it. There will be a Ministry Fair and reception after the Mass for all to attend. I intend to be there so stop by and let me shake your hand and say “Thank you for all you do for the Knights and for Life”. The CPLC has asked that we do everything we can to make this a huge event – please place this on your calendar and enjoy the evening!

I am so looking forward to this event!! I hope you will let your Council know as well as others in your parishes. Flyers in English and Spanish are attached

Rachel’s Vineyard Women’s Retreat – Friday October 11 – Sunday October 13

Rachel’s Vineyard weekend retreats offer a supportive, confidential, and non-judgmental environment where women and men can reconcile past abortion pain and begin the process of healing.  Mental health counselors and ordained clergy are there with a compassionate retreat team to affirm and support you.

Whether you are interested in healing by using faith- based resources or other means, we are happy to refer you to trained mental health professionals and clergy who can assist you on that journey.

Save the Date!!

Our Pregnancy Resource Centers need your donations of clothing, diapers, and other items

Both the White Rose and Bloom are in need of the following:

  • Diapers – newborn, 2 through 6
  • Baby Wipes
  • Rash cream
  • Baby wash
  • Baby Lotion

Both are in need of volunteers also to counsel and help in other ways. Consider hosting a Baby Shower at your parish for one or both PRC’s.

Monthly Events:

Spend some time with Jesus – and help save lives while doing it

Adoration is each First Friday of the month at Bloom with the intention that abortion ends in this country.
