Father Uche and Brother Knights,
Holy Spirit Council #8157 in Duncanville, and the Dallas Diocese, held a successful 2nd Wheelchair Sunday over the weekend. They collected $10,086 plus received $400 before the weekend, for a total raised of $10,486 for 70 wheelchairs.
Since it is estimated that each wheelchair delivered changes and improves an average of 10 lives, they will impact the lives of 700 people! Their funds will go towards providing a large container of 280 wheelchairs for the Oaxaca CRIT Center in Mexico.
There were 5 Our Lady of Guadalupe given out to donors of $500 or more.
Thank you so much to Fr. Uche Aladi for his wonderful support and to Grand Knight Michael Fitzgerald for coordinating the event. Thanks also to Brother Alex Sabo and Brother James Russell for helping at multiple Masses and to the other Brother Knights that helped. And thank you to the Holy Spirit parishioners for their kindness and generosity in providing all these wheelchairs for children in need. God bless all of you.
Congratulations on a wonderfully successful effort everyone!!

Dear Fr. Uche and Brother Knights,
Thank you so much for your continuing support of our life-changing mission.
Your efforts allow us to answer the prayers of entire families when we give a child a wheelchair. The kids being able to go to school and play outside with their friends gives them hope for the future and allows them to dream of a great life ahead.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to do God’s work on earth.
May God bless you all.
Sincerely,
Chris
