Dear Fr. Alfonse and Brother Knights,
Mary Immaculate, Council 5052 in Farmers Branch, and the Dallas Diocese held a successful Wheelchair Sunday, raising $30,434. Their funds will be used to provide a large container of 280 wheelchairs for the Saltillo CRIT Center in Coahuila, Mexico. Since it is estimated that each wheelchair delivered changes and improves an average of 10 lives, they will immediately impact 2,030 lives.
There were 9 Our Lady of Guadalupe lithographs given out to donors of $500 or more.
Thank you so much to Fr. Alfonse for his tremendous support. Thanks also to Brother Roy Rabenaldt for coordinating the event and his full-time presence. I am grateful to the other Brother Knights who helped collect donations and to the parishioners of Mary Immaculate for their generosity in providing these 203 wheelchairs.
God bless all of you.
Ricardo.
