The 2022 Cardey Vance/Paul Bagley Sister’s Appreciation Luncheon at Knights of Columbus Council 799 in Dallas, Texas.
The Knights of Columbus Council 799 held their 13th annual Cardy Vance/Paul Bagley Sister’s Appreciation Luncheon on Sunday March 13, 2022, at the Kaycee Club Hall in Dallas Texas. 43 sisters from the Dallas diocese were treated to a five course Italian themed meal provided by the direction of KC799 member Chef Nick Pavageaux. 15 cloistered Sisters were also provided with meals to go which were delivered by “The Great 799”. The Sisters participated in games with prizes, and, also received goodie bags and gift cards provided by the council.
All culinary volunteers were 799 members and the 10 wait staff members who helped, were Knight’s wives. The event was funded by more than 25 individual monetary contributions by council members. The gift donations of candles were provided by The ScentShop, and Ruibal’s Plants of Dallas donated the floral arrangements which were also given away to some Sisters at the end of the luncheon.
