St. Martin of Tours Wheelchair Sunday Update

Father Patrick and Brother Knights,

St. Martin of Tours #13133 in Forney and the Dallas Diocese held a Wheelchair Sunday over the weekend. $1,328 was collected at the Masses and $800 was received online, for a total of $2,128 for 14 wheelchairs. Their Council will also be collecting money for wheelchairs this Friday during their Fish Fry.

Prior to their Wheelchair Sunday they had raised $3,150, so their total raised for the fraternal year is $5,278 for 35 wheelchairs. Their funds were not be designated and will go to where there is the greatest need.

Thank you so much to Fr. Patrick Olaleye for his support of this mission and to Joe Brancaccio for coordinating the event and helping at the Masses. Thanks also to the parishioners for their generosity in providing these wheelchairs.
