Squires Preparing Food Boxes
Council 830 and St. Patrick’s Parish In Denison in conjunction with Catholic Charities in Dallas is sponsoring the first Catholic free food distribution on Wednesday, April 21. At this difficult economic time in our culture, Council 830 organized a food distribution to benefit members of our Texoma community. The distribution has been advertised in parish bulletins, radio, internet, parish electronic news boards and information sent to neighboring churches and community organizations. If successful, the food distribution will be held monthly. The photo shows members of the Squires Circle sponsored by Council 830 preparing the boxes with food collected from the St. Patrick community during Lent. This food will be merged with the food provided by Catholic Charities.
