Attached is the Wheelchair Mission Donations by Diocese and Council Report as of November 29, 2023 and the Mid Year Meeting Wheelchair Program Report.
Mary Immaculate, Council 5052 in Farmers Branch, and the Dallas Diocese held a successful Wheelchair Sunday, raising $30,434.
Our Lady of Angels Council 13044, in Allen and the Dallas Diocese, held a very successful 6th Annual Wheelchair Sunday over the past two weekends.

Attached is the report of the Wheelchair Mission Donations by Diocese and Council received as of September 30, 2023. Thank you and God bless you to the First Lady’s Initiative and the 60 Councils that have donated a total of $124,843 for 832 wheelchairs. At this time last fraternal year, 58 Councils and 1 Assembly had donated $78,848 for 525 wheelchairs.

Catholic Charities in Laredo was in desperate need of clothing for immigrant families. Bishop Greg Kelly asked Dallas St. Vincent de Paul if they could help. The Dallas St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store agreed to supply clothes and asked if the Knights in Dallas could deliver them.
Once again, the Lord moves in mysterious ways. I attended the Council 7850 Membership Meeting last night (St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Plano) and before the meeting Brother Dave Rosengrants asked me if I was the one who sent out the notice about that guy from North Carolina who was seeking aid and companionship from the Knights in the Dallas Diocese.
Although temperatures reached into the triple digits, members of Council 830 in Denison turned out and supported the building of a Habitat for Humanity home on June 18.
The Goal of our “Hands in our Community – Home and Abroad” program is to provide comfort and sustenance for homeless and destitute by providing supplies and food for those in our ‘backyard’ be it in Texas or Viet Nam.
100 is the number of wheelchairs our council will provide for disabled children at the CRIT Center in La Paz, Mexico as a result of our fundraising drive for the American Wheelchair Mission. The official number was 99, but a few moments ago I received a phone call from brother SK Art Senato, pledging to donate 1 more chair.
St. Michael the Archangel Council #10523 in Grand Prairie and the Dallas Diocese held a very successful first ever Wheelchair Sunday over the weekend. $13,312 was collected at the Masses and $1,450 was received online, for a total of $14,762 for 98 wheelchairs. Since it is estimated that each wheelchair delivered changes and improves an average of 10 lives, they will make an immediate impact in the lives of 980 people.
St. Martin of Tours #13133 in Forney and the Dallas Diocese held a Wheelchair Sunday over the weekend. $1,328 was collected at the Masses and $800 was received online, for a total of $2,128 for 14 wheelchairs. Their Council will also be collecting money for wheelchairs this Friday during their Fish Fry.
